What is the Orbitel Movil SIM card configuration?

The Orbitel Movil SIM card comes with an initial credit at the time of purchase of 8 €. Which you can start using after completing the registration process (in accordance with Law 25/2007 on Data Retention).

I lost my PIN / PUK, how I can get it back?

PIN and PUK codes are numeric codes which protect the SIM card. The PIN (Personal Identification Number) consists of 4 digit number. If you enter a wrong PIN code several times, the phone will request the PUK code. The system allows up to 10 attempts to enter your code correctly and to be able to use your SIM card. The PUK (personal Unlocking key) is an 8 digits number. The system allows up to 10 attempts to enter your code correctly.

What is the validity of my SIM card? Does it expire?

1. If you do not add credit to your Orbitel Movil for more than 60 days, you can only receive calls..
2. 15 days later, if you still haven't added credit; you cannot longer make or receive calls.
3. Once you go over these 15 days, you will have 15 additional days to add credit otherwise your SIM Card will be deactivated and cannot longer be recovered.

Why my SIM card does not work?

First of all, we need to ensure that your mobile phone is free from any service provider, which means it can accept SIM cards from other mobile service providers. Secondly, verify that the SIM card is properly located inside the mobile phone. Once you have reviewed these two steps, if the problem persists it may be possible that the SIM card is dirty. Remove the SIM card and make sure the electronic system is clean. If your SIM card still does not work please contact our Customer Service at 901 020 840.

How I can top up my Orbitel Movil?

The Orbitel Movil SIM card can be top up with with print or electronic vouchers available in Spain. You can also top up online and with the codes: * 133 * or by calling 1201 from your Orbitel movil.

Where I top up my Orbitel Movil?

Vouchers to add credit to your Orbitel Movil, are available in the following points:

Points of Sale such as internet cafes, telephone booths, and money transfer companies, among others. de La Caixa ATMs. In Orbitel.com and in large chain stores such as:

What number should I dial to top up?

To add credit trough a printed voucher, call 1201 (free from your Orbitel Movil) and follow the steps sugested by recorded voice. Or dial * 133 * from your Orbitel Movil, enter the coupon number and the # key.

Why is my top up code not accepted?

Make sure you have correctly dialed all code digits followed by the # key. If you still cannot top up, please contact our Customer Service by calling 1201 (free from your Orbitel Movil).

When can I call from my Orbitel Movil?

With Orbitel Movil you can call whenever you want, wherever you want, since the rates are the same 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the cost of the call is charged per second.

What's my SIM card current credit?

To check your available credit you have to call 1212 (free from your Orbitel Movil). The first 3 calls during the month are free, and after these, the following calls have additional cost.

Why am I not getting the missed call notification?

The only way to know if anyone has called you is by activating your voicemail. We currently do not offer the missed call notification service.

How does Roaming work?

Roaming is the service that allows you as an Orbitel Movil user, to use the Orbitel SIM card to make national and/or international calls when you are abroad. Orbitel Movil has agreements with multiple service providers in the world which will allow you to use your SIM in those countries.

What is the Orbitel Movil customer service number?

If you call from your Orbitel Movil dial 1200, totally free. This call does use your mobile minutes. From a different phone, dial 901 020 840

Does it have any additional cost to call Orbitel Movil customer service number?

For Orbitel Movil customers is totally free of cost to call the 1200. Calls to the customer service number 901 020 840 from any phone, will have an additional cost depending on the service provider, from which was originated the call, we do not charge this.

How I can activate the "call waiting" service?

To activate the "call waiting" service, contact our customer service support at 1200 (free) from your Orbitel Movil.

My SIM card was stolen, and/or I lost it, how can I prevent someone else from using it? Can I recover my number?

Call our customer service immediately to report your case, deactivate your SIM card and to solve your problem. Our customer service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 1200 from your Orbitel Movil (no additional cost), from any other phone dial: 901 020 840.

How do I make international calls from my Orbitel Movil?

Quite simply, dial directly from your Orbitel Movil, just dial the international code 00 + country code + city code + phone number, and then press the send button to make calls. When you send a text message (SMS) to a mobile phone in your country, dial the same way. For further information call 1200 from your Orbitel Movil.

What is portability, how does it work?

Portability is the method to sign up to Orbitel Movil without having to change your current phone number. Once you give us your data, the porting process is free and simple. Orbitel is responsible for conducting the process. In the meantime, until we finish the porting process you need to have your service activated from your current service provider, and then you will have your new Orbitel Movil service.

After you confirm the reception, the porting process begins, which usually takes 5 working days. We will send an SMS the day before to notify you. During the portability process it is important not to cancel your contract with your current service provider, since this will automatically cancel the request to transfer your number. If your service canceled, we will have difficulties transferring your number, since it belongs to an inactive SIM card.

What is the Orbitel Movil SIM card expiration date?

If you add credit and use your SIM, it will always be valid.

If you don't add credit once you finish you minutes, you cannot use the services of Orbitel Movil effectively, but you'll be able to receive calls, SMS and MMS.

If you do not add any credit after 90 days, the SIM will be permanently blocked and you will lose your phone number.

During the entire 90 days until that happens; you can buy credit, call the emergency number 112, and you will be able to call Orbitel Movil Customer service at (12xx).

If you purchase your SIM and go over 60 days without activation, it will also be blocked permanently and you will lose your phone number.
